About

Hi There, i am Madhav and my favourite thing to do is, look at blank space and THINK!!

I know it sounds so boring, but can you blame me. You would know this, how primitive and basic this activity is to our existence. Think of a day when you didn’t think anything. It’s impossible, isn’t it?

But, don’t let the simplicity of this activity, fool you about it’s true power. And when i say this activity i don’t mean looking at blank space. I am talking about the power of thinking. The true potential of this power is left unharnessed by most of us. I have been trying to harness this power of mine. And no i didn’t start by meditating. I have been indulging in this activity since teenage. Although the quality of thoughts from that decade can be best described as “IMMATURE & UTTER SHITE”.

However, i would like to think that the decade following my teenage was a period of my very own personal renaissance. Working a full time job, miserably failing at relationships, reading literatures, delving into philosophy, travelling to remote places, talking to people on those journeys, provided me a variety of lenses to look at life/things in general, and helped me to think better. This blog is my attempt to share the ideas and opinions formed as part of that journey.

Some of these ideas and opinions were born out of reading, while some were conceived through conversation with interesting people from all sorts of life, on many of my travels. Some of these ideas took the form of a poem while some stayed in the rather mundane format of an essay. Some of these ideas are about aspects of human life such as kindness, service, relationships while some are about issues prevalent in society such as discrimination, inequality.

And i am going to share all of them with you.

And yes i hear you asking ,”why not keep your opinion to yourself?”.

Well, the thing is, it’s in the benefit of both you and i, to ensure that we as human beings continue to form ideas/opinions and refine them. Believe it or not, you and me are what is called “fabrics of society”. Yes this society, which we share, for both good and bad. And we affect this shared avenue, through actions that are driven by the ideas & opinions that we form. Hence i invite you to engage with me through my posts and share your perspective. I invite you to scrutinise and refine my ideas and hope that you will extend me the same courtesy. As collective human beings, we benefit by sharing, and looking at things from multiple lenses.

So, Thank You Very Much, for sparing your valuable time. I believe in the goodness in your heart.

As for me, back to my favourite activity i.e looking at blank space.

Ciao!
